Ashley Adams, MD is a 5th year resident in the Brown Triple Board (pediatrics, psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry) program. Prior to medical school she worked as a residential counselor in a psychiatric treatment facility for children, an experience that informed her decision to pursue combined training in pediatrics and psychiatry. Throughout her residency training she has pursued interests in development, attachment, and family therapy as related to early childhood mental health for families within the neonatal intensive care unit and psychiatric care settings. She hopes to continue this clinical and academic work with families in Rhode Island following completion of her training.
