Rui Mendes is a practice manager at LifePACT and ExpressCare Transfer and Access Center. He specializes in working with primary care practices, multi-specialty health and wellness care centers, diagnostic laboratories, ambulance companies, and transportation services.
In his previous roles, Mendes gained experience in corporate health and wellness, occupational health and safety, business start-ups, and project and program implementation and management. Before joining Brown University Health, Mendes worked as a healthcare management and business development consultant at RuCor Strategies, LLC in Dartmouth, Massachusetts; a practice operations manager with The Marino Center for Integrative Health in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and an operations and project manager at Boston Heart Diagnostics Inc. in Framingham, Massachusetts, among other roles.
He completed a bachelor’s degree in health management from Northeastern University in Boston. He also earned an EMT and paramedic certificate from Northeastern University, as well as a critical care paramedic certificate from a partnership with AMR and Massachusetts General Brigham, MD Connect.
