Cazzie Steinzor, PhD, is a psychologist at the Partial Hospital Program at Brown University Health. She earned her master's and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from the University of South Dakota, focused on evidence-based and trauma-informed care.

Dr. Steinzor completed her internship at the Charlie Norwood VAMC in Augusta, Georgia, where she specialized in treating those struggling with personality disorders, sexual trauma, eating pathology, and emotion dysregulation. Dr. Steinzor went on to complete her post-doctoral fellowship within partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient clinics at Walden Behavioral Care, specializing in treating LGBTQ+ identified individuals presenting with complex eating disorders.

Her clinical and research interests include childhood maltreatment, complex trauma, borderline personality disorder, and eating pathology.

As a clinician, Dr. Steinzor practices evidence-based care from a third–wave cognitive behavioral therapy framework. She values meeting each patient where they are to empower them to thrive, in their individual ways.
