Christina Mele, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist at the Adult Partial Hospital Program in acceptance and mindfulness-based therapies at Brown University Health. Dr. Mele is also a clinical assistant professor in the department of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Mele received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She completed her American Psychological Association-accredited internship at the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System and her postdoctoral fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine - Westchester Behavioral Health Center.

Dr. Mele has extensive training and experience in delivering evidence-based treatments, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral and exposure-based therapies for a wide range of difficulties. She also values working with diverse and underserved populations across the lifespan.

Dr. Mele’s clinical interests include the treatment of anxiety, mood, and trauma-related symptoms and concerns related to identity, emotion regulation, and interpersonal relationships. In addition to providing direct patient care, Dr. Mele has a strong commitment to clinical supervision and training.
