Jay L. Liu, DO, is a neurointensivist with the Neurocritical Care Unit at Rhode Island Hospital. She specializes in the care of critically ill patients with acute neurological conditions, including stroke, brain injury, and severe seizures.

Dr. Liu earned a doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a neurology residency at Wayne State University/ Detroit Medical Center, a neurocritical care fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, and a critical care EEG fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Liu has collaborated on research published in peer-reviewed, academic journals and presented at medical conferences.
