Jena Talbot, PhD

Psychologist

Jena Talbot, PhD, is a psychologist at the Partial Hospital Program at Brown University Health who specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues.

Most recently, she worked as an outpatient clinician at Aspire Health Alliance in Massachusetts, where she conducted integrative therapy with adults across a range of diagnoses and presented concerns, and conducted case assessment, individual therapy, and treatment planning. At the same time, Dr. Talbot worked as a group facilitator for McLean Southeast Partial Hospitalization Program in Massachusetts, leading groups in crisis prevention, mindfulness, grounding, goal setting, cognitive distortions, and patient support.

Dr. Talbot earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.  Her master’s degree is in forensic mental health counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, New York, and she earned her doctorate in counseling psychology from Boston College Lynch School of Education in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Dr. Talbot completed a pre-doctoral psychology internship at Aspire Health Alliance, where her time was split between outpatient community mental health work and at McLean Southeast in the adult inpatient unit and its Partial Hospitalization Program.
