“Find a Doctor” is operated by Brown University Health and includes all physicians who are on the medical staffs of Brown University Health-affiliated hospitals, without any charge to them. Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.
Jennifer L. Fletcher, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Jennifer Fletcher, LMHC is a mental health counselor with Brown University Health’s Partial Hospital Program, where she specializes in treating patients in the co-occurring disorders track.
Fletcher has provided group and individual treatment for the past 8 years at the Newport Hospital Partial Program, where she helped to develop the co-occurring disorders track. Areas of interest and training include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT); self-compassion and positive psychology in recovery; and the co-occurrence of trauma and addiction. Prior to joining the Partial Hospital Program, Fletcher worked as an outpatient mental health counselor with both adults and children at several agencies, including Newport County Community Mental Health in Middletown, RI and East Bay Community Action Program in Newport, RI. She held the position of clinical manager at two residential treatment programs for adolescents and children for the Family Service of Rhode Island in Providence.
Fletcher earned a master’s degree in holistic counseling and a certificate of advanced graduate studies in mental health counseling from Salve Regina University. She completed her undergraduate work in history and philosophy at Wellesley College.
