Salma Khshaiboon, PhD

Salma Khshaiboon, PhD, is a psychologist at the Partial Hospital Program at Brown University Health.

Her areas of expertise support patients with mood and/or personality disorders that may include depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders post traumatic stress disorder, substance use, grief and loss, self-growth, relationships, and interpersonal stressors.

Dr. Khshaiboon earned a doctorate in counseling psychology from Seton Hall University and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Montclair State University, both in New Jersey.

Dr. Khshaiboon has served as an adjunct professor at universities including the American University in Cairo, Seton Hall University, and Yeshiva University. Her professional training included a post-doctoral fellowship with the US Department of Veterans Affairs in New Jersey. During her graduate training, she provided counseling and psychological services to college age students, the elderly population as well as psychological screening for correction officers’ applicants with the New York City Department of Corrections.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey Psychological Association and fluent in three languages: English, Arabic, and Hebrew. She is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.
