Neuro-Oncology Clinic

Currently, Rhode Island leads the nation in the number of brain tumors per capita. The nuero-oncology service was created to improve treatment for brain tumor patients, through a multi-disciplinary approach with both pre- and post-operative care to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Heinrich Elinzano, MD, and Alexander C. Mohler, MD, work closely with the neurology department and the Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as other Rhode Island Hospital physicians who have expertise in oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, and neuropathology, to develop a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to each patient’s care.
