We understand the importance of careful attention to medical conditions to ensure the best possible outcomes in pregnancy. You’re not just a “high-risk pregnancy” to us. We provide expectant mothers and their babies with the most advanced, professional and compassionate care. We manage the care of women with existing health problems, such as diabetes, those who develop complications during pregnancy, and any health problems that develop after pregnancy.

We take a collaborative team approach to your health care, working with obstetricians, midwives, primary care providers and medical specialists to provide the comprehensive care you deserve. Our providers are nationally and internationally recognized specialists in obstetric medicine, maternal fetal medicine, gastroenterology, pulmonology, endocrinology, rheumatology, cardiology, and behavioral medicine. We hold multidisciplinary meetings, where the entire team discusses the best evidence-based management plan for each individual patient.

As mothers ourselves, we know that pregnancy is one of the most important events in your life. Perinatal care encompasses two requirements for a healthy pregnancy – a healthy baby and a healthy mother. Our obstetric medicine specialists work hand-in-hand with our maternal fetal medicine team of physicians, nurses, genetic counselors, behavioral medicine specialists, registered dietitians, ultrasound technologists and more, to provide high-risk pregnancy care for women who require more frequent monitoring, medications, or treatments

Our physicians are board certified and serve on the faculty of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. They are leaders in national and international organizations and have authored multiple textbooks and articles in medical journals. We are also leaders in conducting research that helps us provide the highest quality, evidence-based care for our patients.
