The Brown University Health Sleep Disorders Center, a program of Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s, is the region's leading muti-site, electronically linked sleep disorders center. The clinics—along with sleep testing labs in East Providence and East Greenwich—provide diagnosis and treatment of multiple sleep disorders and medical consultations. Accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) for over 35 years, the program serves patients ages seven and older, though pediatric patients must meet specific criteria. The program at Hasbro Children’s provides consultation and sleep studies on all children and children one to six years of age. Those with complex medical conditions will have sleep studies performed at the hospital.
