The Brown University Health Office of Research will host its annual Research Day on Friday, November 7, 2025.

Keynote Speaker

The event will be headlined by a presentation from Suzanne Phelan, PhD, titled Lifestyle Interventions for Cardiometabolic Health: From preconception through pregnancy, and postpartum.

Dr. Phelan is a professor of kinesiology and public health and director of women’s health at California Polytechnic State University.

This full-day event brings together researchers, clinicians, trainees, and students to showcase groundbreaking work and foster interdisciplinary connections.
