The Miriam Hospital is ranked first among Rhode Island Hospitals by US News and World Report's 2025 to 2026 rankings.
For the 14th year in a row, the hospital was named a “Best Regional Hospital,” placing it among just 13% of more than 4,400 hospitals nationwide to earn a numerical ranking in a state, metro area, and medical specialty.
The Miriam Hospital has also achieved Magnet Recognition for excellence in nursing since 1998, and it remains one of only a handful of hospitals nationwide to maintain this elite designation for seven consecutive cycles, one of only four hospitals worldwide.
