Danielle M. Cohn, PhD

Danielle Cohn, PhD is a licensed psychologist at the Adult Partial Hospital Program at Brown University Health. She is the clinical lead for the General Track. She received her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from American University in Washington, D.C. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC). 

Before joining Brown University Health, Dr. Cohn served as an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at LSUHSC, as well as the associate training director of the LSUHSC psychology internship training program. She also worked as a clinician at DBT NOLA in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she provided individual and group psychotherapy services.

Dr. Cohn has extensive training and experience in delivering evidence-based treatments, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and exposure-based therapies across multiple settings and for a variety of presenting difficulties. She also has a strong commitment to clinical supervision and training.

Dr. Cohn is a member of the Association of Psychologists in Academic Health Centers, the American Psychological Association, and the Association for Behavior and Cognitive Therapies. She is licensed in Rhode Island and Louisiana.
