The Jaffe Foundation Award for Excellence in Nursing

The Jaffe Foundation was established as a trust by the late Meyer Jaffe in 1962. The mission of the Jaffe Foundation is to encourage and support innovative approaches to health and social problems in the United States and Israel and to support the performing arts.

Edwin Jaffe established the award at The Miriam Hospital in 1986 after being a patient. He was so impressed with the quality of the nursing care at The Miriam that he funded this award to recognize a member of the nursing staff for commitment to superior nursing care.

Jaffe Foundation's Commitment to The Miriam

The Jaffe Foundation Award for Excellence in Nursing demonstrates the foundation's commitment to The Miriam Hospital and the continued efforts to encourage our nursing staff members to reach their full potential. It also serves as a reminder of The Miriam's proud history of achieving nursing excellence.
