At Brown University Health Cancer Institute’s Hematologic Malignancies Center, our team of experts provides comprehensive patient-centered care and innovative treatments for adult patients with blood disorders (hematology) or blood cancer (oncology).

Our physicians work collaboratively to diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases and cancers of the blood, enabling our patients to benefit from the expertise of the hematopathologist, radiologist, and medical oncologist from the very first visit.

Our Treatment Facilities

At Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital, outpatient facilities provide diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of hematologic and oncologic disorders. 

Dedicated inpatient units at both hospitals give our patients specialized care to meet their particular needs while they are being treated for hematology oncology. A HEPA-filtered, state-of-the-art environment in private rooms at Rhode Island Hospital protects immune-compromised patients against infectious diseases.
