Application Requirements

A RIC Cumulative GPA of 2.7 is needed for:

Radiography
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Nuclear Medicine Technology
Ultrasound/Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS)

A complete COVID series plus booster dose as well as an influenza vaccination is required prior to acceptance into a medical imaging program.

Post-Degree Applicants

The Brown University Health School of Medical Imaging also accepts students who already have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. Students must meet the following pre-requisite requirements:

College or university level physics
Anatomy and Physiology I and II
Math (statistics or calculus)
Chemistry – required for nuclear medicine technologist only
