Our Metacom providers are relocating to other locations in the East Bay area and beyond due to our decision not to renew our lease. If you haven’t already, you will receive a letter before your clinician’s last day in the Metacom practice with information about the next steps in your care.

Why Is the Metacom Primary Care Practice Closing/Not Renewing Its Lease?

Space constraints in the practice limit us in supporting high-quality care. This has made it challenging to bring on additional clinicians — something that remains a top priority as Brown Health Primary Care works to expand access and provide care to more patients.

When Will I Know Who My Clinician and Practice Will Be Going Forward?

If you haven’t already, you will receive a letter before your clinician’s last day in the Metacom practice with information about the next steps in your care. If you are able to follow your clinician to their new location, we welcome you to do so.

Otherwise, Brown Health Primary Care is available to discuss other options with you. Please note that requests for a specific clinician or location cannot be guaranteed, as we are experiencing a national and regional primary care provider shortage. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure your continued care.
