Project VIIBE

Welcome to Project VIIBE!

Join the Vital Insights into Biology and Experiences (VIIBE) Study, exploring how daily life, mood, and biology are connected in young adults who get a period or use birth control.

About Project VIIBE

Project VIIBE is a research study led by Brown University Health at The Miriam Hospital. We’re exploring the connection between ovarian hormones and everyday experiences like mood, and daily habits such as vaping, drinking or smoking weed in young adults.

Why Is This Research Being Done?

Natural hormone changes during the menstrual cycle, as well as hormones from birth control pills, may affect daily experiences and behaviors. However, very little research has directly examined these hormonal effects in real life over time, which is what Project VIIBE aims to do.
