Free Mental Health Education Workshops for Rhode Island
The Center for Behavioral and Preventive Medicine is offering free workshops for Rhode Island community members of all ages through its PROSPER program—Promoting Resilience, Optimizing Skills, Psychoeducation, Empowerment, and Results. Each workshop equips you with practical tools to grow, strengthen your well-being, and thrive in everyday life.

Our Current Virtual Workshop Offerings
Incredible Years – Baby
A workshop for caregivers of infants, focused on nurturing healthy development, strengthening caregiver–child bonds, and supporting family well-being.
The First Approach Skills Training: Parenting Teens (FAST-P)
A workshop for caregivers of teens (ages 12 to 18), offering strategies to improve communication, navigate challenges, and foster positive family relationships.
The Resilience Series for Healthcare Providers
A workshop for healthcare professionals, focused on enhancing emotional resilience, boosting well-being, and supporting sustainable self-care in demanding clinical environments.
