Learning from Our Community
Forums Focused on Rhode Islanders' Health Care Concerns
An effective physician is a skilled listener. The same holds true for a health system.
Brown University Health launches a month-long series of community forums as part of our regular community health needs assessments.
Community Health Needs
Knowledge gained from these community forums informs the community health needs assessment reports for Brown University Health hospitals.
Hosted by the Brown University Health Community Health Institute, the forums help us understand the health care concerns of Rhode Islanders. Because no two cities, towns or neighborhoods are alike, Brown University Health started a new conversation in more than 30 locations throughout the state.
These forums are held in schools, libraries and churches in the heart of your city or town. Members of your community help us facilitate the discussions. Each session has free parking and refreshments and, upon request, child care and interpreters.
