Adult Sick Appointments
Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care patients can be seen evenings, weekends and holidays. If you need an adult sick visit, please call Care365 at 401-606-2365 to schedule an appointment.
Pediatric Sick Appointments
Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care pediatricians are available 365 days a year. Please call your child's pediatrician.
In a true medical emergency, please dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
The best way to communicate with your office for general questions is through the MyChart Patient Portal. On the patient portal, you can send your practice a message, request an appointment, view your lab results, and much more.

For prescription refills, please call your pharmacy directly. For all other medication questions, please contact your practice. Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care's pharmacy team is here to help.
Your visit to your primary care clinician may incur costs depending on the type of visit and your insurance plan's coverage. Below is a list of visit types and how insurance generally covers them.

Preventative Care Visits
- Annual Exams
- Annual Wellness Visits (AWV)
These visits review health history, medications and end-of-life care. Screenings or tests are scheduled, immunizations updated and blood pressure, height and weight are measured. During annual exams, a physical exam will also be conducted.
Insurance Coverage
Commercial Insurance or Medicare Advantage: You may have no out-of-pocket costs.
Original Medicare: You may have costs for an annual exam but not for an annual wellness visit.
Problem Visits
- Sick or New Problem Visits
- Follow-up Visits
A problem visit involves a new health problem such as illness, injury or symptom, or a follow-up visit after the initial problem visit. These visits discuss a new issue or treat ongoing conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol or high blood pressure.
Insurance Coverage
Most plans: You will likely pay for all or part of the visit’s cost. Each instance is treated as a single visit with a charge.
Combination Visits
- Preventative Care Visits with Problem Visits
If a health issue typically requiring a problem visit is diagnosed during a preventative visit, your clinician may be able to address it at that visit. However, any discussion, test or treatment will be considered as a separate visit and may incur additional charges.
Insurance Coverage
Most plans: You will likely pay for all or part of the visit’s cost.
Note: Clinicians are required by law to bill for preventative care and problem visits separately.
You can request your medical records using the form below. Requests for patient medical records will be billed to the patient according to state regulations.
In many cases, yes. Please speak with your practice manager at your current practice, and they will assist you with your request.
