"This program gave me the opportunity to not only work in the hospital but the opportunity to explore the setting of my dream career. The summer youth employment program has provided me with the fundamentals needed to create a stable work environment no matter where I go. The information we learned can be used in multiple work settings, but it can also be used to help ourselves. This program taught us how to properly care for our mental health, give patient care in the best way possible and respect our colleagues. I appreciate this program for giving me an opportunity that prepared me for the future challenges ahead."

"Over the past seven weeks I have had the pleasure of participating in the Brown University Health Summer Youth Program. Throughout my time in this program, I’ve learned a tremendous amount about myself as an individual, as well as the nature of the hospital environment and how to be professional. My favorite part of the program was attending workshops and learning about the professional workplace. I would like to thank my parents for their support throughout my time in the program, as well as the program coordinator for making workshops with insightful learning experiences. I can’t wait to see what my future in healthcare holds!"
