Housing
The Ronald McDonald House of Providence
The Ronald McDonald House of Providence provides programs that directly improve the health and well-being of hospitalized children and their families. We support families with children being treated at Hasbro Children’s, Rhode Island Hospital, Bradley Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital. Our programs allow families to spend additional time with a sick child, help ease financial burdens, provide a sense of normalcy and keep families together during times of medical crisis.

45 Gay Street
Providence, RI, 02905

The House offers 28 guest rooms each with a private bathroom. A large kitchen, family room with play area, laundry facilities and fitness room are all available to our guest families. The House also offers programs that promote wellness and relaxation as well as a home cooked meal each night. A 24-hour van service is provided from the hospital to the Ronald McDonald House.
In addition to being close to the hospitals, the House offers something even more important – the support that comes from being able to talk and share concerns with other parents going through similarly difficult situations.
Our services have expanded to include a Ronald McDonald Family Room on the 4th floor of Hasbro Children’s.
We ask for a $10 contribution per night but nobody is ever turned away for inability to pay. For more information, please speak to a nurse, physician or social worker at the hospital, or call the Ronald McDonald House of Providence directly at 401-274-4447.
