The Division of Pathology Informatics at Brown University Health integrates advanced technology and innovative research into the field of pathology. Our division uses cutting-edge scanners to provide patients with excellent care, including the Philips Ultra Fast Scanner, Leica Versa, Leica CS, and three Grundium Ocus 20 scanners. These tools are instrumental in performing remote frozen sections, consultations, and cytology adequacy assessments. These advanced technologies enable unparalleled accuracy in digitizing pathology slides and facilitating remote diagnostics.
